Assistance Dogs
Beaconsfield Medical Practice welcomes assistance dogs and is committed to providing services that are equally accessible and responsive to all sections of the community.
This includes assistance dogs in training.
Assistance dogs are permitted to enter most areas of the Practice including patient facing areas and clinical rooms, for example GP and Nurse’s consulting rooms.
An assistance dog is not permitted to enter any area that is considered Infection Prevention and Control sensitive, sterile environment within the Practice.
Where Infection Prevention and Control requirements create a specific restriction Beaconsfield Medical Practice will undertake an individual assessment and consider reasonable alternatives.
